The Mission
You are my priority. I want to help you establish your authenticity, character, and essence through your writing. I will be offering my services in developmental, line, and copy editing, as well as proofreading.
For developmental editing, I will be helping with the structuring of your manuscript (placement of chapters, the POV, setting and description, consistent dialogue, character development, theme, conflict, individual scenes, and plot). For line editing, I will be looking at sentence structure and clarity. For copy editing, I will be looking at punctuation, spelling, and typos. For proofreading services, I will take that final look for you to make sure everything looks as it should.
After each edit, I will look at your revisions and make additional recommendations. For additional edits, I will charge an additional fee depending on the word count.
I will also include a half-hour phone session at no extra cost, to discuss the project and revisions. For extra phone sessions, there will be an hourly additional fee. Otherwise, I can be contacted via e-mail. Please allow 48 hours for an e-mail response.
I will need about four to six weeks to complete each edit and will be making my editing suggestions and comments through Google docs, Microsoft Word, or Adobe if you prefer.
Acceptable forms of payment: PayPal, Zelle, and Venmo.

The types of services that I offer are developmental, line, copy, and proof editing. They all have different fees depending on the word count (currency accepted: USD).
