The Tyranny of Death: The Unraveling
by Frank A. Silva
One of the best books I've read this year! Kept me glued to my chair and had me praying for good to prevail from beginning to end! 5 out of 5 stars. Takes you on a ride you won't forget! Loved the story!

The cast was memorable and compelling. The fight between good and evil was present from start to finish. I relished this story, enjoying every new twist and turn. Kept me guessing until the very end, and wanting more. I couldn't get enough of his larger-than-life characters. I was moved by the friendships and alliances formed, sympathetic for the ones that passed away, and cheered along with all the followers and believers of the White.
Doug Maxwell: The Storm Trilogy Book 1
by Theodore Huntington
Loved this beautiful story about a young, insecure boy who's gifted with superhuman abilities, making his most cherished dreams become a reality. I rooted for Doug along with his fans. I felt sympathy for his caring mother and complete hatred for the egotistical and overbearing father. It's not only a story about sports and reaching spectacular fame, but also a story about the search for love and identity. Bravo, Theodore Huntington! You wrote a compelling story that kept me up until 4:15 a.m.
The Secret Diary of a Lockdown Mum
by Angie Bailey
A candid and hilarious account of a mom's struggle to remain sane during the COVID lockdown.
I truly believe that this diary will reveal to posterity an accurate depiction of the lockdown of 2020; moms everywhere will be able to relate. My sister has a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old, and throughout this whole period, I've also witnessed much of the frustration, anger, and exhaustion that plagued this UK mom as she fought to keep her sanity and composure.
She talks of the many battles that she fought with her children because they hated homeschooling and being locked in; humorously talks of her secret desire to plot her husband's murder because she wishes that he could help her out more with the chores and kids instead of adding to her frustrations.
She keeps a diary to help her cope with her struggles and frustrations, and relies on wine and smoking more so than she would like, but through it all, she fights to remain positive and to acknowledge that not all has been lost; she is fairing a lot better than other unfortunate people who've lost family members to the COVID virus.
I couldn't help but laugh at her witty humor, agree with her keen observations, and sympathize with her desperate attempts to remain in control of her household.
Many years from now, someone will pick up this book and be deeply impacted by the heartfelt and humorous stories depicted in this diary in the same manner that Anne Frank's diary stirred the emotions and conscience of the generations that ensued.
It truly is a revealing portrait of a woman who is just trying her best to be the best mom and wife that she can be under these very trying times.
Until Death, Jail, or Deportation: Story of a Dreamer
by Hector Soliz
A gripping account of a Dreamer who wouldn't give up! A revealing portrait of a young man that was born in Mexico to loving parents who sacrificed everything to give him and his brother a childhood that was better than their own in many ways, but that still suffered poverty, hunger, and dashed dreams.
Even as a child he was inquisitive and dared to ask questions that most children his age or even the adults in his life didn't bother to ask themselves. I sympathized with this young man who often entertained himself with books and by stargazing into the starlit skies. Even when he was little, he felt that he was different, and although he encountered some problems with school bullies, he never felt defeated...in his own way, he found ways to rise above those moments that made him feel isolated and misunderstood.
At times this account is heartbreaking and shocking, at others funny and endearing. I connected with this honest and captivating account of a young man in search of an identity and permanent home in a world full of injustice and conflict.
A brave young man, certainly a voice that needs to be heard and taken into account. I meant to read this book in a matter of days but ended up reading the whole thing in one night. I couldn't put it down!
A Rake for Juliana (The Rakes and the Crown)
By Jessica A. Clements
A Rake for Juliana deserves your undivided attention. I read this captivating story in one sitting. There's romance, suspense, murder, and intrigue. Marcus and Juliana's love story was moving, passionate, sweet, and unforgettable. Against all odds, they defend their love for each other. The story casts a wonderful set of complex characters, takes you on an exciting and shocking journey. Just when you think you know who is behind the murders and treachery...Ms. Clements surprises you and keeps you guessing until the very end. I completely and honestly enjoyed this read and highly recommend it to lovers of historical regency suspense. Awesome job, Ms. Clements. You've gained a new fan!

My Two Wives
By J. Craig Rice
I loved My Two Wives. Such a passionate, complex, and moving story. The drama was addictive. The steamy scenes were sensuous and provocative. I came to love Cassie and Stacy...to respect their admiration and love for each other. I was happy for Chris. All his life he'd been carrying a chip on his shoulder when in reality he had the key to his happiness.  He wasn't dysfunctional, he was blessed with big equipment...and Cassie and Stacy helped him discover his sexual prowess, making him shed years of insecurity and feelings of inadequacy. Hot. Powerful. Mind-blowing. Bravo, J. Craig Rice!
Love:Â Poems to bolster every heart that ever beat
By Donna Ashworth
Love, by Donna Ashworth, is a poignant, beautiful, and soothing collection of poems on self-love, friendship, marriage, and children. They address the bonds that enrich our lives, shaping our perspectives on love, compassion, and forgiveness for ourselves and others.
It is exactly the collection of poems I needed to read. I needed to be reminded about the beauty of my dreams, worth, and soul. I needed to be reminded that I am loved and will always be loved because I will always have myself and never abandon myself.
This collection inspires, enlightens, and lifts all burdens: These poems moved me to tears. I understood their depth and value and would love to share them with my loved ones and friends. I want them to experience the joy of self-discovery, and the lessons that can be found in our pain and mistakes when we take the time to carefully reflect upon them.
